Acer Android All-In-One TA272HUL review

Running Android on a 27-inch all-in-one style desktop isn't something we thought about all that much. Sure, we saw Acer announce the Android AIO TA272HUL back in January during CES, but the setup wasn't shipping and any thoughts we had simply faded away. Acer reached out in March offering to send us a review unit, and while eager to accept, we do have to admit we were a bit skeptical going into this review. At risk of offering a spoiler, we were surprised with how much use and attention the computer received.

Acer event April 29 hints at new device, maybe a wearable

Acer has begun sending invitations to an event in New York on April 29. Just what’s being rolled out isn’t noted, but the announcement says “Please join us for a (their logo) touch more connected”. From there, it seems as though we’ll be getting a myriad of devices, perhaps even wearables.

Acer Android AIO TA272HUL: hands-on and first-impressions

Acer originally unveiled the TA272HUL Android All-in-One back in January. The announcement arrived during CES. More to the point for today -- Acer recently provided us with a unit for review. We have to admit that having Android (in this case 4.2 Jelly Bean with the Play Store) running on a 27-inch display seems a bit crazy. We'll likely have more to say as we get deeper into the review, but for now we wanted to share some images and some first impression style thoughts.
