It is a shame that this demo wasn't with anything running Android, however it is mobile related and it is rather cool technology. For those not familiar with the MakerBot Replicator, it is a desktop 3D printer that you can use to print out things like, well, cases for your smartphones. The MakerBot Replicator 2, which is the fourth generation is said to the "best desktop 3D printer on the market." The unfortunate part here, with a price tag of more than $2,000 this is not something the average home user is going to purchase, or even see.

In addition to the smartphone announcements, LG has also made some smaller announcements. Of which, one is actually being touted as the "world's smallest." This one happens to be the LG WCP-300 Wireless Charger. Another item being shown off is the flip cover case for the Optimus G Pro handset. We recently spent a few minutes checking out each of these while on the show floor here at Mobile World Congress.

Today we've learned that HTC is set to offer a new device called the HTC Mini with purchases of their impressive 5-inch HTC Butterfly smartphone. This isn't a smartwatch that will sync to your smartphone, instead it's basically a mini phone -- for your phone. The HTC Mini is an NFC-equipped remote control and handset that can do all sorts of things, and even make calls.

We've all been longing for some official accessories or docks for our Nexus 7 tablets, and it looks like the wait will just be a few more days. Late last month we reported the official ASUS Nexus 7 dock should be available later in the month but that never happened. Online retailers such as B&H Video are still accepting pre-orders though.

Accessories and docks for Nexus devices have been a bit of a mystery in the past.
