ZTE Fanfare budget phone gets picked up by Cricket Wireless

As people are gushing over the Samsung Galaxy S6 over at the premium side of the smartphone spectrum, there is no question that there are also a lot of options over at the budget tier. And Cricket Wireless just added another sub-$100 phone to its lineup to appeal to those who just want a simple phone and no bells and whistles whatsoever – this is the ZTE Fanfare.

Bezel-less, high-end Nubia Z9 officially announced with full specs

We've seen the supposed leaked pictures and read the rumors about this almost bezel-less new smartphone from ZTE. But the time for speculation is over as the Nubia Z9 was finally unveiled and its full specifications announced in China. Something that wasn't mentioned in the previous leaks is that there will be 3 versions of the new flagship and it looks like they will all be in the high-end smartphone category.

ZTE ZMAX phablet now back on T-Mobile Website

Aside from the news that that Galaxy Note 4 getting a taste of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, T-Mobile is also relisting the ZTE ZMAX. This was actually soon after the Sony Xperia Z3 was also relisted on the website after being absent from the lineup for some time. This is good news for those who want a ZTE ZMAX and want to get the Android tablet only from T-Mobile. It wasn't actually a long absence but the ten days of possible sales is already a loss for both companies.

It looks like a lot of smartphones now, specifically those from Chinese brands, are aiming to go as bezel-less as possible. While those devices may not be the sturdiest, they do look the shiniest and the prettiest. A new smartphone from ZTE called the Nubia Z9 is laying claim to the least bezel-y phone in the market and based on the device's leaked images ahead of its launch, it does seem to look that way.

ZTE rolls out Blade S6 Plus phablet with bigger screen, batt

ZTE may not be "up there" with the biggest brands but the Chinese manufacturer is certainly making a name in the mobile industry with affordable smartphones. Only less than two weeks after the Nubia Z9 Mini and Z9 Max , a new mobile is introduced in the form of the ZTE Blade S6 Plus. This 'Plus' is a actually a phablet version of the Android Lollipop-powered ZTE Blade S6 which debuted in January. As with any other flagship phones, the Blade S6 got a bigger sibling. Phablets are expected to be expensive but ZTE is offering this one for a low price of $299.99. A sub $300 phone-tablet is considered mid-range--very affordable for anyone who wants a bigger smartphone.

ZTE intros new phones, calls them Nubia Z9 Mini and Z9 Max

Yet another Chinese phone manufacturer is introducing a new pair of smartphones. ZTE has just announced its newest Nubia phones: the Nubia Z9 Mini and the Nubia Z9 Max. These two are the latest in the Nubia series of smartphones from the brand. Units will be available first in China this coming April but no mention yet when they will be released in other countries.
