LG G2 smartphone has officially launched for those in the US. The handset is now widely available with a trio of carriers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T and T-Mobile. The price points are similar across the carriers, however as we have been seeing lately, they each have a few purchase options available. Regardless of the carrier though, you will be getting a handset with a 5.2-inch display that is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor.
T-Mobile is getting ready to make some changes to their unlimited data hotspot bundles. The details are coming by way of some leaked screenshots and although the details suggest the changes should already be in effect, there are some mixed reports in terms of availability. That being said, it looks like the carrier has bumped the hotspot allowances for those using an unlimited data plan.
Moto X was going to arrive with a locked bootloader. But on the flip side of that, it was previously announced that majority of the carriers would allow users to unlock the bootloader should they want to go that route. Anyway, with that in mind, it looks like the Motorola website has already been updated to reflect the T-Mobile availability.
Motorola announced their new customizable smartphone, the Moto X, they made sure to mention it would be available from all five major US carriers. While the device will be available in stores from the main four, T-Mobile won't be selling the device direct. Instead, it will be available online only from Motorola.com or reportedly the Google Play Store.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be heading to five US carriers, of which we have seen confirmation of the release coming from four. The one missing at this time is US Cellular, however perhaps more important for today is the pre-order availability with two of those carries. Those include Verizon Wireless and AT&T and each have the Galaxy Note 3 available for pre-order as of today.
T-Mobile had already announced the upcoming availability of the LG G2 and Optimus F6 smartphones. And well, it looks like they have now come forward with the remaining details -- the availability dates and the pricing. Both handsets will be arriving this month, however those looking for the G2 still have a few weeks worth of waiting ahead of them. The LG G2 will be available as of September 18th.
Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear, we are beginning to hear from the US carriers. AT&T issued a short statement and we are now hearing from Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile. Similar to the statement we saw from AT&T, these latest two arrive as little more than teasers.
