Verizon Wireless tops ACSI customer satisfaction survey

Verizon Wireless has taken top honors in a recent American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey dealing with wireless service. This survey took a look at the big four carriers, which includes Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. In addition to overall customer satisfaction in terms of the carriers, the survey took a look at items such as the manufacturers behind the devices.

T-Mobile Galaxy S III 4G LTE model rumored for June 5 release

Samsung's new flagship smartphone the GALAXY S 4 might be all the rage right now, but the folks from T-Mobile aren't giving up on the older brother just yet. Some new details have confirmed Samsung and T-Mobile will be releasing a 4G LTE capable budget priced Galaxy S III early next month. Now that T-Mobile has a 4G LTE network, it's time to upgrade all those phones.

T-Mobile choosing ISIS over Google Wallet

Similar to what we have seen with Google Wallet and Verizon Wireless, it looks like T-Mobile has offered a bit of insight in terms of which mobile payment system that will be supporting. Basically, it seems T-Mobile is blocking Google Wallet in support of ISIS. This latest bit comes by way of a recent question that was posed to the T-Mobile help account on Twitter.

T-Mobile Galaxy S III Android 4.1.2 update arriving with multi-window

T-Mobile has announced the latest software update for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The update process is set to begin today and will be arriving as Android 4.1.2 and with features to include multi-window. Those carrying a T-Mobile branded Galaxy S III will be able to get the update over-the-air or using Kies. On that note, the update is on the larger side so if you are taking the over-the-air approach -- you may want to make sure you are on WiFi before beginning.

T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 Jelly Bean update paused

Jelly Bean began rolling out for T-Mobile users with an LG Optimus L9 a few weeks earlier. As of today however, that update has since been placed on pause. The details are coming by way of T-Mobile, who have said the update was placed on pause by LG. The silver lining here is the use of the word pause. Of course, we suspect those still rocking Ice Cream Sandwich may be a bit disappointed.

T-Mobile Q1 2013 results show first branded customer growth in four years

T-Mobile has posted their Q1 2013 results and while these numbers will not reflect the recent merger with MetroPCS, the carrier has said this quarter has brought the "first positive branded customer growth in four years." T-Mobile is reporting 3,000 branded net customer additions, which to put a year on that first positive branded customer growth in four years comment -- means this stems back from 2009.

T-Mobile GALAXY S 4 software update rolling out today

The T-Mobile GALAXY S 4 has only been available for a short time, however it looks like the carrier has already announced a software update. In fact, said update is available as of today and those with a T-Mobile GALAXY S 4 will be able to grab the update over-the-air or by way of Samsung Kies.

T-Mobile, MetroPCS merger officially completed, brings T-Mobile US

Talk of MetroPCS merging with T-Mobile began as rumor back in October 2012 and was quickly confirmed. At the time of the confirmation, the merger was expected to be wrapped up and completed sometime in the early part of 2013. Well, sitting on May 1, 2013 we now have word of the merger being fully completed. As a result, we now have T-Mobile US, which will be trading as TMUS.

T-Mobile GALAXY S 4 online availability kicks off today

Coming as was expected, T-Mobile has begun selling the Samsung GALAXY S 4 this morning. T-Mobile has the GALAXY S 4 available in the 16GB model and those considering a purchase will need to shell out $149.99 as a downpayment on the day of purchase. The GALAXY S 4 is available with the recently released UNcarrier Simple Choice Plans which means there will not be any contract, but there will be additional monthly payments for the handset.
