Samsung Galaxy S III carrier availability set to expand in June
While the GALAXY S 4 may be the latest from Samsung, it doesn't change the fact that the Galaxy S III is still a rather capable handset. With that in mind, it looks like the Galaxy S III will be launching with two additional carriers in June. The carriers include Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, however at present neither have announced the pricing.

Samsung's new flagship smartphone the GALAXY S 4 might be all the rage right now, but the folks from T-Mobile aren't giving up on the older brother just yet. Some new details have confirmed Samsung and T-Mobile will be releasing a 4G LTE capable budget priced Galaxy S III early next month. Now that T-Mobile has a 4G LTE network, it's time to upgrade all those phones.

T-Mobile Galaxy S III Android 4.1.2 update arriving with multi-window
T-Mobile has announced the latest software update for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The update process is set to begin today and will be arriving as Android 4.1.2 and with features to include multi-window. Those carrying a T-Mobile branded Galaxy S III will be able to get the update over-the-air or using Kies. On that note, the update is on the larger side so if you are taking the over-the-air approach -- you may want to make sure you are on WiFi before beginning.

Price cuts are not a new concept. We often see price cuts arrive for existing models shortly before a new model is released. In this case we happen to be referring to the Galaxy S III, of which we are now waiting for the GALAXY S 4 to be released. Before we get ahead of ourselves though, the carriers seem to be lowering the price of the Galaxy S III.

It looks like the anticipation for the Samsung GALAXY S 4 is really high, almost about 4.5x that of the Samsung Galaxy S III. According to Carphone Warehouse, pre-registrations for the Samsung GALAXY S 4 is 446% higher than the pre-registrations for the Samsung Galaxy S III. Now keep in mind, these are pre-registrations, and not pre-orders, so actual sales figures will vary.

We know everyone is excited and can't wait to see the new Samsung Galaxy S4, but it looks like Samsung also has been working hard on an updated model of their current flagship Galaxy S III smartphone. Apparently the company is looking to get a few extra miles out of last years Android king, and a refreshed Galaxy S III is on the way soon.

It appears as if Samsung will be releasing a few new features in an upcoming update. The features are Smart Scroll and Smart Pause, a few that have been talked about recently. The key here, while these were believed to be coming with the release of the Galaxy S IV -- it now looks like they will be available for at least one other Samsung device.
