Samsung Galaxy S II update to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean rolling out now

We've been getting mixed signals and reports regarding Samsung's still extremely popular yet aging Galaxy S II smartphone. While they've been quick with updates to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and beyond, the Galaxy S II is still waiting to enjoy 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google Now, and everything else we love about the latest version of Android. However it looks like the rollout is back on track for Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean updated delayed til February

It looks like official updates for Samsung's highly popular Galaxy S II to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean have been delayed. We can't technically call it delayed since it wasn't announced, but previous reports had them coming before the end of the year and then delayed into early 2013. Back in December we mentioned they'd arrive in early 2013, and now reports have surfaced claiming the updates will start in February.

Jelly Bean updates for Galaxy S II reportedly delayed

We've been talking a lot about Jelly Bean updates for the Samsung Galaxy S III lately, and all the while, the large number of Galaxy S II owners have been waiting patiently for news of their update. We've got some news to share with you today courtesy of the folks over at SamMobile, but unfortunately it isn't good.
