Moto X 64 GB model discovered

Whether Motorola will soon have a new flagship is still an open question, but it seems it's not yet done with its almost year-old Moto X smartphone. Spotted buried within the HTML source code for the Moto Maker website is an indication of the existence of a 64 GB variant that might be coming soon.

Moto E spotted in new leaked image, could have front-facing speakers

The Moto E, a possibly lower-cost cousin to the already attractively priced Moto G, has allegedly been spotted. Via Motorola’s Facebook page in Mexico, some enterprising soul caught a pic of what could be the new handset next to a Moto G. A bit more squat and a lot more interesting, the tiny “E” might make a big splash.

QuickCamera launches your camera with a flick of the wrist

One of the missing puzzles is now available in the form QuickCamera, an app that will launch your immediately camera app with a simple twisting motion.

Moto X successor possibly spotted on benchmark site

A new Motorola device, presumably the successor to the Moto X, was spotted in benchmark testing. Performance marks aren’t the juicy bits we’re after, here — the hardware specs are. What we find is everything we wished the Moto X was on launch, but it could be a different device altogether.  

Smartphones: latest and greatest vs. the old reliable

As you'll notice from our coverage here on the site, we get to play with a fair amount of new devices. In fact, there are several tablets and smartphones sitting on my desk at the moment, including the HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5. As those are the two new flagships we suspect many readers would love the opportunity to say the same. The thing is, we aren't saying this to brag, but instead to illustrate a point about how the hot new device may not be the best (for you).
