Peek 2.0 arrives, brings in lots of features and fixes

It was supposed to be just one of the cool features of Paranoid Android’s custom ROMs, but Peek is now actually doing well on its own after being released as a standalone app in May. Users will be glad to know that Peek 2.0 has just dropped at the Google Play Store on June 13, and makers of the app have promised a lot of requested features – including a number of fixes – in store for those who get the update.

Motorola has just pushed a new update to their exclusive Assist app, now hosted on Google Play Store, with an interesting highlight. Aside from bug fixes and improved driving detection, the update releases the talk-to-me feature from the confines of the car and brings it to your living room.

T-Mobile Moto X soak test invites being sent out

It looks like T-Mobile and Motorola are getting ready to begin pushing an update to Moto X users. For now the specifics for the update remain a mystery, however we do know one is coming due to the soak test invitations that are being sent out. These invites are going to members of the Motorola Feedback Network, and as always, they are light on the specifics.

Moto X 64 GB model discovered

Whether Motorola will soon have a new flagship is still an open question, but it seems it's not yet done with its almost year-old Moto X smartphone. Spotted buried within the HTML source code for the Moto Maker website is an indication of the existence of a 64 GB variant that might be coming soon.

Moto E spotted in new leaked image, could have front-facing speakers

The Moto E, a possibly lower-cost cousin to the already attractively priced Moto G, has allegedly been spotted. Via Motorola’s Facebook page in Mexico, some enterprising soul caught a pic of what could be the new handset next to a Moto G. A bit more squat and a lot more interesting, the tiny “E” might make a big splash.
