LG Optimus G pre-orders open at AT&T tomorrow for $199
AT&T customers waiting on the LG Optimus G were given some good news today, as the carrier announced that the phone will be available at its stores on November 2. The phone will set you back $199.99 with a two year contract, and if you want to make sure you get it on day one, you can pre-order it beginning tomorrow. The LG Optimus G has the distinction of being the carrier's first quad-core 4G LTE phone, so we're expecting it to be pretty popular with AT&T customers.

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Music, its latest Android smartphone, and one that - as the name suggests - focuses on media playback. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on an unspecified processor, the Galaxy Music has a 3-inch 240 x 320 LCT TFT display, a 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera (with no LED flash), and front stereo speakers with SRS Surround.

It's been a while since we've discussed the Motorola DROID XYBOARD here on Android Community, but today it's making headlines thanks to its shiny new Ice Cream Sandwich update. Motorola has announced that it's pushing Ice Cream Sandwich updates for both the DROID XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1, so if you haven't moved on to a different kind of tablet yet, you're in for a treat. It isn't quite the squishy, colorful candy treat that many would prefer, but delicious ice cream is almost just as good.

We're not sure how good of an idea it is to give your child a tablet, but we do know that if you're going to do so, it probably shouldn't be one of those fragile, expensive tablets aimed at adults. Today the folks from LG have re-introduced their popular L series smartphone, the LG Optimus L9 for T-Mobile. This smartphone was announced earlier this year and has been available internationally, but now will grace the 4G speeds of T-Mobile USA. Complete with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 4.5-inch display -- this should be a quality mid-range phone coming "later this fall."

Looking for a 7-inch tablet on the cheap? We're talking cheaper than the Google Nexus 7, which is already pretty inexpensive as far as tablets go. If you are, then Alcatel might just have the tablet for you. The company recently pulled the veil off the Alcatel One Touch T10, which is expected to sell for around €120 when it launches in Europe - that translates to about 156 US dollars.
