HTC DROID DNA international edition leaks out

Well what do we have here? The reliable folks of @evleaks have yet another leaked press shot to show us, this time putting the HTC Deluxe - otherwise known as the global edition of the HTC DROID DNA - on display for the international community to go crazy over. Unfortunately, the press shot is all we're getting, but if this truly is the DROID DNA international edition, then we already have a pretty good idea of what's in store.

HTC is going to bring its 5-inch monster phablet to China. With China's massive population, it seems like the perfect place for HTC to bring it's incredibly powerful smartphone. China has long been considered a market where entry-level phones rule the roost, but there is a growing segment of the market seeking high-end devices, and HTC is looking to capitalize on that growing demand with the HTC DLX.

After all the leaks and rumors today HTC and Verizon silenced them all by officially announcing their new HTC DROID DNA. The phone is completed by a 5-inch 1080p HD display, quad-core processor, and basically everything we already knew based on leaks -- but one we didn't. Up on stage HTC announced that like the LG Nexus 4, the DROID DNA supports wireless charging right out of the box.

Verizon confirms HTC DROID DNA ahead of expected reveal

For those who missed the news, Verizon and HTC are set to host an event in just a couple of days on November 13. It's there that we're expecting to get an official reveal of the long-rumored HTC DROID DNA, but before that happens, it looks like Verizon has confirmed the handset's existence. A new listing for a DROID DNA unboxing has popped up on Verizon's DROID DOES website, confirming the device before it's even revealed.

The much-rumored HTC smartphone complete with a 1080p HD display in a 5-inch phablet form factor is getting closer to our hands by the day. After some official press photos leaked late last week, and again this morning, it looks like the HTC DROID DNA is getting checked out at the FCC. Late last week we received our first official press render and official leak of the new 5-inch 1080p HD smartphone phablet and over the weekend we received another. Not only that but a few rumors are stating a December 6th release date for HTC's new flagship.
