Reebok has become the latest to launch a fitness related app for Android users. The app is simply called Reebok Fitness and it will allow the user to build their own programs. Well, build their own programs with some guidance. This setup begins with you choosing the length (ranging from 6 to 12 weeks) and picking a few categories. By doing this, the Reebok Fitness app should help to keep your workout routine fresh and given some time, it should also help to improve your fitness level.

Samsung began talking about a game called Unicorn Apocalypse in some commercials a little while back. The latest commercial began airing about a week ago and as of today -- the game is available by way of the Google Play Store. Yes, Samsung has released Unicorn Apocalypse and you can download and begin playing it right now. The game is free and requires nothing more than a device running 1.6 or later.

New reports have surfaced supposedly from an inside source at Google, confirming the company is preparing to launch their own Amazon Prime or eBay same-day shipping service. My first thought was, "have you seen those Google Play Store shipping times?" but this is something completely different. It's to be called Google Shopping Express and should battle the competition.

Yesterday Google took to their social networks and shared with everyone they were happy to announce the Google Play Store has just celebrated its 1st birthday. The Android Market is long gone and their Play Store full of apps, games, movies, music, books, and now Google hardware is doing quite well. To celebrate they've started a week of good deals.

Temple Run: Oz now available for Android [Hands-On]
Temple Run 2 launched back in late-January and almost immediately began setting records. In fact, it was said to have broken mobile gaming records by topping the 50 million download mark in just 13 days time. Since the release Temple Run 2 has gotten the bug fixing and performance enhancing update, however as of today it looks like we have another Temple Run game to play. This latest is Temple Run: Oz and follows in the path of the Brave edition in that it is a Disney release.

Happy Birthday Google Play Store! Get out the candles and cake, the Google Play Store has just turned 1 years old. Well maybe tomorrow it will at least. As a reminder, the Android Market has been around forever but it has been 1 year since they replaced it with what we know and love today as the Play Store. In celebration Google has plenty of deals and gifts for us, and they'll be available and changing all week.

Smartphone app downloads predicted to reach 56 billion in 2013
How many apps do you have installed on your smartphone or tablet? If we had to guess, that number would be fairly large. I have just over 70 installed on my Galaxy S III, however I would probably say that number is on the lower end as compared to some. Needless to say, regardless of how many apps you have personally, one thing is clear -- apps are popular. And in fact, with more and more users moving to smartphones, the amount of downloaded apps is only going to increase.

We've been receiving a few comments this afternoon that users are magically getting an unknown application installed on their devices. You'll notice a new green "Google Settings" icon in your app tray, and a few comments were worried it was a virus or malware. Today it looks like Google has initiated a software update to improve the Google Play Store on our Android smartphones and tablets. We haven't seen an update to the Play Store for a few months, but today version 3.10.14 is rolling out as we speak according to multiple tips that are coming in. So far we aren't seeing any new changes sadly.

For eligible smartphones, after purchase users will get a free $50 gift card for the Google Play Store. With many new smartphones on the horizon it appears that Motorola is trying to steal a few more sales real quick.
