Galaxy Nexus users. As we all know, the Verizon Gnex is the only Nexus still hanging out in the Android 4.1 era, while Google's updated all the rest to the latest and greatest Jelly Bean. While Verizon updated their Galaxy Nexus back in September, we're all still awaiting Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Today however thanks to CyanogenMod we have it right now, so lets take a peek below.

They've been working hard on CM10.1, which is the absolute latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, and have now begun nightly builds for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus 7 3G and a few others. While most Nexus devices are already enjoying 4.2 Jelly Bean, Verizon's Galaxy Nexus isn't so here's your chance to enjoy the latest and greatest.

This is a release of CM10.1, but an unofficial release. It is also considered an early release, which really means that a few items are not fully working.

CyanogenMod since CM9, Apollo, is finally available for everyone, not just those running the popular Android custom ROM. The app is called Apollo and this weekend it finally arrived in the Google Play Store for all to enjoy. Their slogan is "illuminate your music" and their app will do just that for you.
