This ASUS concept product has received mild success and generally warm reviews, and it won’t be a surprise if we see PanFone S2 leaks soon, starting with this one.

Windows 7 successfully installed on an Asus ZenFone 2

Windows running on an Android device? It's possible. Not that we doubt it can never happen but honestly, there is no need, right? But then with Android being an open source platform, developers and the whole Android community can do anything with the platform. A senior XDA developer managed to install Windows 7 on an Asus ZenFone 2 powered by an Intel processor. Thanks to the Intel chipset used, an Android phone can now run full Windows.

ASUS unexpectedly reveals Zenpad C 7.0 in new video

Users have been expecting the ZenPad 8.0 and the ZenPad 8.0 S series tablets from Asus, since they have been heavily promoting it since it was announced earlier this month at Computex 2015. A lot of the people who bought this phone will probably be happy to hear that there is now a way to safely unlock the bootloader of the device so you can start installing after-market software.

HTC not keen on a merger with Asustek

Mere days after ASUS chairman Johnny Shih acknowledged that they are not ruling out acquiring fellow Taiwanese OEM HTC (and then their subsequent denial that they are doing so), the latter came out with their own statement saying that they will "not consider a merger with Asus." The statement was posted on the stock exchange website of Taiwan, and was in response to the comments made by Shih during the annual general meeting.

ASUS may be considering acquiring HTC

They may be two of the biggest OEMs from Taiwan, but that doesn't mean that all is rosy in the garden for ASUS and HTC. While ASUS has much better prospects, they are relatively a new player in the smartphone market. Meanwhile, HTC has been dealing with the disappointment with their latest flagship, the One M9, and also the consequences of financial losses in the market. So what is the solution for the two? It may be to join forces, rather than do it on their own.
