AT&T 4G LTE expands to 14 markets across 10 states

AT&T has come forward with details on the latest 4G LTE expansions. This time around we are seeing several new markets that have gone live this week. In total, new AT&T 4G LTE coverage is coming to 14 markets across 10 states. Those states include Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

Instead this time around they are getting a look at the markets that will be getting coverage throughout the remainder of the year. And in addition, AT&T also provided a status update in terms of where things stand at the moment.

AT&T has announced the latest 4G LTE expansion. This time around we are seeing new coverage and expanded coverage across Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Ohio and Virginia. For the most part this latest LTE expansion includes one market per state, but regardless, it does mean faster speeds.

Verizon CFO details VoLTE plans and predictions

It sounds like Verizon has some pretty big plans and an ambitious outlook for its 4G LTE service next year. At the Oppenheimer Technology, Internet and Communications Conference in Bostin, Verizon CFO Fran Shammo shared what the company has in store for its customers on the first half of 2014, as well as his vision for LTE-only devices.
