Google stated they'd start shipping around April 8th, but today they've confirmed devices will actually be hitting doorsteps tomorrow, April 12th. So get excited if you spent the cash to get one.

Samsung have just announced yet another device that is getting updated to the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This is one of many in a long line of recent updates from Samsung, and it's something we're glad to finally see. Samsung's been busy updating everything from the original Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II, and now less popular devices like the Galaxy Victory.
LG released a powerhouse smartphone the Optimus G for AT&T and a few other carriers, and it was quite successful. Now just a few short months later it looks like they are already set to one-up the smartphone as their recently announced Optimus G Pro with a massive 5.5-inch 1080p display is rumored to be headed to AT&T next month.
AT&T has been doing quite a bit of growth in terms of LTE coverage these past few months. We saw several LTE expansion announcements during the month of March and have already seen one this month. That previous announcement arrived on April 3 and detailed coverage in 14 new markets across 11 states. As of today we have word of six additional markets.
EE, who happen to be the first (and only) carrier in the UK to offer 4G have recently announced some upgrade plans. The carrier has said they plan to double the speed and capacity of their 4G network. We have yet to see a specific date as to when this will be going live, however those increased speeds should begin arriving during the summer months.
HTC One here in the United States. Here with the AT&T version of the HTC One, we've got 4G LTE connectivity and a device build that's essentially identical to the original international edition of the device. What's changed is the radio inside and the software build - but only ever so slightly. Here you've got the addition of a few AT&T-specific apps so you're running right with big blue - otherwise it's all sweet!
Facebook came out swinging today. Or at least some might think so. As I'm sure many of you know today Facebook detailed their plan to get social to the core of Android. AT&T has announced another round of expansions in terms of their 4G LTE coverage. We saw a few announcements during the month of March and given the time of month we are currently sitting at, we suspect April will bring more of the same for the carrier. That being said, for today we have word of expansion in 14 markets which touch on parts of Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Texas and Washington.
