T-Mobile looks towards 2G/EDGE for future 4G LTE expansion

T-Mobile is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their LTE rollout. And naturally, this celebration includes news of some expansion. The carrier is touting how they have voice and data coverage available for 96 percent of the US. While that number doesn't reflect the percentage of available LTE coverage, it will factor in as T-Mobile moves forward.

AT&T LTE-Advanced rollout begins with Chicago

We've been seeing "LTE-A" markings on handsets coming out of Korea, and it looks like we may soon be seeing similar markings here in the US. AT&T has become the first of the US carriers to launch LTE-Advanced coverage. Verizon cell tower seeing interference from fluorescent lighting

As if the FCC didn’t have their hands full already, they’re now going to referee a spat between Verizon and a Los Angeles building management firm. It has to do with lighting, which Verizon says interferes with their nearby tower. The FCC is now stepping in to find an amicable solution to the matter.
