T-Mobile event wrap-up: JUMP, Simple Choice, Xperia Z and 4G LTE

T-Mobile has concluded their latest event, which was the one that promised to bring the "boldest moves yet." Deciding that will have to be left up to each individual, but what we can say is how T-Mobile brought some exciting new additions today. The event included a few items, two of which ended some long standing rumors. Those two were the JUMP upgrade program and the announcement of the Sony Xperia Z. In addition we also saw the Simple Choice plan announced for families and saw a bit of talk about the current state of the T-Mobile 4G LTE network.

AT&T aims for Verizon with launch of 35 new 4G LTE markets

This morning AT&T had some pretty big news to announce regarding their network upgrades. It has been a while since we've seen an update of this size, and today they confirmed they'll be switching on 35 new 4G LTE markets. With Verizon announcing last week they already hit their goal to have nearly all 3G covered with 4G by the end of 2013, AT&T is turning up the heat.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active Review

Samsung originally announced the Galaxy S4 Active in early June. Since that point we have seen the handset shown off during the Samsung Premiere event which took place a few days earlier. We managed to spend a few minutes of hands-on time with the handset during that event, however that was just the start of our experience with the Active. We received an AT&T branded Galaxy S4 a short while back and as such we have been able to spend a bit more time playing around -- and yes, that includes testing the device in water.

AT&T 4G LTE further expands across six states

AT&T has once again returned with some news on the 4G LTE expansions. This time around the new LTE coverage is coming for those in a handful of markets across six states. Those six states include Arkansas, California, Georgia, Minnesota, North Dakota and Ohio. Basically, if you happen to have coverage available -- now seems like a good time to make sure you have an LTE handset at the ready.

Aio Wireless integrating 4G LTE

4G LTE is getting harder and harder to miss. The irony is, that it's literally true. You see, it's not exactly breaking news that 4G LTE is slowly surpassing 3G as the mobile network of choice. So with that astonishing revelation (sarcasm) comes the even more astonishing revelation that more and more companies are getting into the 4G mix - and Aio is one of them.
