Android running on the iPhone 3G – Video

About a month ago we got our first glimpse of Android running on an iPhone 2G. Although that was a big accomplishment, the 2G is dated even when compared to the first generation Android devices. Now Android has been ported to the 3G.

The Spring Design Alex looks to take on the big names in the eReader world with their latest Android powered eBook. The guys over at Slashgear put together a nice in-depth review of this device. There’s no doubt about it, the HTC legend is one of the most beautiful devices ever made. It’s all aluminum unibody design with rubber accents are some of the best designs we have seen in any mobile device. It has recently cleared the FCC with AT&T 3G bands. Those of you in Canada know AT&T and Rogers shares the same bands so where this will land is anyone’s guess.

Motorola Android flip-phone leaks

Images of a new Motorola Android smartphone have leaked, with the unnamed model having a flip cover form-factor similar to the Verizon Motorola Krave ZN4.  The touchscreen handset has a transparent cover and a row of touch-sensitive controls; it's also a MOTOBLUR device, it seems, going from icons on the homescreen. According to IT168, where the images leaked, the phone is in prototype stage.  Interesting it has dual network indicators showing in the status bar, which some are speculating could mean it has dual-3G capabilities for better coverage.  Other tipped specs include a 5-megapixel camera and 720p HD video recording. Of course, it could also be a Motorola-styled copy, running a ripped build of the company's Android OS and themed around their popular Ming/Krave design. [gallery] [via Engadget Chinese]
