T-Mobile Garminfone Coming June 2nd?

The only thing left now is confirmation from T-Mobile but this phone is pretty much a lock for a June 2nd release. If you’ve heard that date before it’s because the myTouch 3G Slide will be releasing on the same day. Engadget received this leaked screenshot of the Android powered Garmiphone. This screen not only outs the pricing for this handset but also the release date.

Samsung Galaxy 5 Spotted in The Wild

Samsung has another Android device in the works, the Galaxy 5 or the GT-I5500 will be hitting the streets soon. This little device packs in Android 2.1 along with a few other features. This device hasn’t really been covered much with all the excitement around the EVO and the Galaxy S so it may be something new for most of you out there.

The guys over at SlashGear have been nice enough to videotape their first unboxing of the EVO 4G from Sprint, and they're even including their first impressions of the device. So far? Sprint held their EVO event tonight, and they spilled the beans on a lot of the handset's functionality, which included some demonstrations at the event of features that the majority of people are waiting for. myTouch 3G Will Get 2.1

According to techland, they had a meeting with Andrew Sherrard, the VP of Production Innovation for T-Mobile and he confirmed that the mytouch 3G will indeed receive the Android 2.1 update. Its currently being tested all we have to do now is wait for the OTA.

SlashGear Reviews Spring Design Alex

The Spring Design Alex looks to take on the big names in the eReader world with their latest Android powered eBook. The guys over at Slashgear put together a nice in-depth review of this device. The Alex can be yours for a price tag of $399. This is a nice device but I’m not sure if this is worth the aforementioned price even with its specs and their partnership with Borders.
