NVIDIA shows us the future with their mobile Kepler GPU technology

While we are still waiting for NVIDIA's impressive looking Tegra 4 processor to officially hit the streets and in smartphones, the company is wasting no time teasing what we can expect to see in the future. Not only are we getting a glimpse of the next-gen graphics we'll likely receive with Tegra 5, but this shows us NVIDIA's mobile Kepler GPU which we can expect to see in tons of devices next year.

Gameloft teases next-gen Infinity Blade rival for Android

One of the biggest game developers for mobile, Gameloft, is at it again this afternoon teasing an upcoming game. This isn't just another run-of-the-mill mobile game either. This is their absolute first game to use the highly impressive Unreal Engine for graphics, only on mobile. If you've been waiting for something impressive like Infinity Blade to arrive on Android -- this is it.

Qualcomm releases Adreno graphic drivers for ICS – let the custom ROMs flow

Good news appeared over the weekend for many HTC smartphone owners, especially the ones with slightly older devices running Qualcomm processors. While Qualcomm hasn't been the friendliest group to modders and the Android Community, they have tried. With all the changes to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich modders have had a hard time building fully operational and smooth ROM's with Android 4.0 ICS. Over the weekend Qualcomm made this entire process much easier for smartphones running their platform.

First off let me start by saying I'm still not really sold on this mobile 3D technology even though I did enjoy reviewing the HTC EVO 3D. What we have for you today is really interesting though because it has some impressive specs on a full HD 8" 1280 x 800 resolution display all rocking glasses-free 3D. The downside is only Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board but I'm sure a few XDA developers could change that. Check out the full specs, pictures, and video below.

Futuremark 3DMark App coming soon to Android, brings benchmarks to a new level

Oh man, this is awesome news for enthusiast and gamers alike in the world of Android. We have many benchmark applications such as Quadrant or CF Bench and what not for Android that tests overall performance but today I've now learned the best of the best in the benchmark business, FutureMark, will be coming soon to Android phones and tablets early 2012. I've used FutureMark 3DMark 06, Vantage and even 11 on my PC for years to test gaming and overall performance and I'm happy to announce this is coming soon for Android.

Android Destroys Apple Logo in Short 3D Animation

This is one of those things that's not especially important to the evolution of Android's mobile OS or it's actual sales war with iOS, but heck, a 3D Android getting put together by other robots then turning around to destroy an Apple logo - that's just entertaining. Currently this guy by the YouTube name of saintmichaelsarmoury is attempting to see if he can turn this into a useable boot animation, but he's a self-proclaimed n00b.

Marvell’s 10-inch Android tablet

Engadget was lucky enough to spend a little quality time with this ultra sleek Android tablet from Marvell. It has a brushed metal case and a front facing camera. Marvell had this beautiful netbook on display at the Netbook Summit.

Gameloft HD 3D games for Android smartphones

Today, Gameloft introduced 10 new 3D games for Android. One of which is Asphalt 5, some of us are familiar with this 3D racing game. It has high quality graphics but some users claim that it lags on the Nexus One. To purchase these games, navigate to Gameloft’s smartphone site from your devices and make the purchase.

Judging from the demo in the video below, these games look awesome and game play is smooth. These games were demoed on a Droid, X10 and a Nexus One.
