LG Aloha Shows up in Verizon’s Inventory

Looks like my earlier suspicion of the LG LU2300 being renamed ALOHA, aka LG VS740 as it’s called in Verizon’s system, has come true. Verizon will have an impressive Android lineup this spring/summer with the addition of this, another 2.1 device that also has a 1GHZ Snapdragon and other great features.

Another Sprint Hero 2.1 Leak

Android 2.1 for the Sprint Hero is rumored to be released on April 9th. Why wait when you can have it now (or the official test ROM)? The latest RUU from Sprint has been leaked by a member from the XDA.

Preorder Your X10 – Roger’s Wireless

If you’re not aware, Roger’s Wireless is expecting preorders for the Sony X10. It’s offered for $149.99 with a 3-year contract and if you sign up for preorder you will receive a free Sony Ericsson MW600 wireless headset. The last preorders will be taken April 14th.

Is This The LG Aloha?

LG is rumored to be working on a high-end Android device codenamed Aloha. So far there have not been any pictures of the device. The handset in the picture is the LG LU2300 and it is set for release in Korea. Could this be the rumored Aloha? Most of the specs match the rumored specs except the product number, C710 is rumored to be the Aloha and this device is the LU2300.

With the recent announcement of the HTC EVO 4G and all the news on the Desire, the HTC Legend is still managing to stay in the news. This is one of the sexiest Android devices to date with its high quality aluminum unibody chassis and Sense UI under the hood.  This beauty has just popped up on Vodafone UK’s preorder page.

Round 2: MyTouch Fender LE

When this phone finally made its way into the market, it quickly sold-out within three weeks of its launch date. The wait for the second batch to arrive seems like an eternity for those of us that want one. Well, that way may be over very soon.

Samsung Galaxy S CTIA presentation now online

Up until Sprint announced the HTC EVO 4G, this was the most talked about phone around the web. Since then, there has been little to no coverage on this device. Samsung is now making a conscious effort to try and bring this phone back into the spotlight. It is a pretty impressive device by the way.

Samsung Galaxy S: Official, Android 2.1, and 4-Inch Super AMOLED

Obviously, we want more Android-based handsets. It doesn't hurt at all, though, when we get devices like the just-announced Samsung Galaxy S. We're pretty sure that this one lands squarely in the superphone bracket of handsets, but Samsung is humble enough to keep officially calling it a smartphone, so we'll begrudgingly oblige them. Why are we so certain that this thing could be a superphone? Well, let us explain.
