Today we're getting additional details about a rather impressive sounding smartphone. This thing truly can compete with - and beat - nearly everything available today in terms of raw specs, design, and features. Vivo isn't a name we hear often, but their new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean 1080p powerhouse smartphone the Vivo Xplay is worthy of our attention.

Last year LG released an impressive smartphone in the LG Optimus G. So decent in fact, that Google decided to use many aspects of the device and collaborated with LG on their own flagship smartphone for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the LG Nexus 4. Now less than a year later we have the new and improved, in every aspect, LG Optimus G Pro on the AC test bench. Pantech Vega Iron 1080p HD phone leaks before tomorrow’s reveal

While we've been seeing nearly all manufacturers jump on board this new 1920 x 1080p full HD train for their smartphones, a few are a little late to the game. Today we're seeing more reports and some leaked images of an upcoming device from the folks at Pantech. This device is reportedly to be called the Vega Iron, and rocks a full HD display and other top-tier specs.

Samsung Galaxy S IV 5-inch 1080p display goes into production

Earlier this afternoon we reported on some rumors floating around that Samsung will announce and unveil their new Galaxy S IV flagship smartphone on March 15th. Reports suggest an initial Samsung Unpacked event will take place, with retail availability coming sometime in April. Today new reports seem to align perfectly with those rumors.
