Sony Xperia Z4

Earlier this April, T-Mobile discontinued its Sony Xperia Z3 deal because we thought it could be paving the way for the Sony Xperia Z4 which was already unveiled a week ago. The Xperia Z3 isn’t exactly a bestseller but we were left wondering why only after six months after its official launch on the network, T-Mobile removed the model from its current lineup. But good news to those who want a Z3, T-Mobile is selling the phone and the black model is listed once again.

The waterproof smartphone which boasts of a 20.7 megapixel camera and gaming integration with PS4 plus the advanced technologies Sony is known for, the Xperia Z3 is now available for only $499. This one is expected since other retailers like Verizon and Amazon are selling this for almost the same price. That’s a lot cheaper than the previous $630 listing. You can also get the phone without any downpayment ($0) but oN a two-year agreement and a $20.83 monthly fee.

Those buying this new device from T-Mobile must first get a SIM Starter Kit worth $15. We’re happy that the Sony Xperia Z3 is back on T-Mobile but we’re really clueless about the reason for stopping sales for a few weeks. T-Mobile has not made an official statement but when asked about the disappearance and absence but the only reply on Twitter was a link to a Sony page on T-Mobile containing all models ready for purchase.

The Sony Xperia Z4 is also rumored to be for Japan only so we’re not exactly banking on to see the latest flagship model on T-Mobile or any other American mobile carriers. Maybe that’s why T-Mobile relisted the Xperia Z3: it won’t have a replacement anytime soon. What do you think?
