We’ve suspected for some time now that the newest smartphone that Samsung will be officially announcing in a few days time will probably be the Galaxy S6. Although we haven’t exactly gotten a “yes, that’s what the name will be” from the Korean OEM, the newest teaser image that has come out sports the tagline “Six Appeal”. This is an almost confirmation that we will be having the sixth edition of their flagship, and as the launch is almost upon us, the teasers keep getting less cryptic, and more like the real thing.

The image is seen at a pre-release email sign-up page on the T-Mobile website, where users can leave their contact information so that they will be updated with the latest news about both Samsung and the carrier (if you’re the type of person that doesn’t search for news about them). So don’t think that it’s a pre-order page for the rumored Galaxy S6, but this is more of a way for them to probably build up excitement for the upcoming phone (and build their database as well).

But more than the existence of this page, what stands out is our first near-clear view of “The Next Big Thing”. While the past teasers showed the smartphone in silhouette, this more or less confirms that it will indeed have the edge display we’re all expecting. It also looks like the power button on the right-hand side may be wrapped around the rear, which makes it a little weird or different from what we’re used to.

The past teasers have also indicated that the Galaxy S6 may be faster than previous flagships and will be able to take pictures even with low lighting. As per Samsung’s “tradition”, the unveiling will be on March 1, a day before the Mobile World Congress officially starts.
