It looks like T-Mobile and Motorola are getting ready to begin pushing an update to Moto X users. For now the specifics for the update remain a mystery, however we do know one is coming due to the soak test invitations that are being sent out. These invites are going to members of the Motorola Feedback Network, and as always, they are light on the specifics.

The invitation simply mentions how “this is a confidential test under the terms of the Motorola Feedback Network.” And then go on to mention how those receiving the notice/update should “not post any details or information about this on any public sites or report if to sites that cover our [the] industry.” Of course, as we’ve seen in the past — those details seems to always make it out.

For now though the specifics are still a mystery. Motorola said the “start times are always fluid” and so far we have yet to hear from any users that have actually gotten and installed this latest update. That of course — leaves us wondering as the T-Mobile Moto X is already running Android 4.4.2 (just like the other carrier branded models).

We’re also a bit curious as to whether soak test invites will begin showing up for those running a Moto X on another carrier network. Time will tell, but for now it looks like Motorola and T-Mobile have an update for coming for Moto X users in the not to distant future.
