New Android handsets are becoming very common on the market with new devices showing up all the time. Google previously promised that it would have 20 new Android devices available by the end of 2009 and it looks like the search giant will easily hit that number.

T-Mobile has a new Android handset coming from Huawei called the 8220, but reports claim it may be called the Pulse when it hits the carrier officially. The device has Wi-Fi and a 3MP camera. Other features include Bluetooth and a 3.5-inch screen.

Storage for the phone is a mere 256MB and with such a tiny amount of storage, I hope a microSD card slot is featured for expansion. This will likely be one of the cheaper Android devices on the market judging by the paltry specifications. If the device will hit the U.S. market is unclear at this time.

  1. It's low on RAM/ROM, but it makes up for it with the nice screen size. I was really hoping for the Magic and Hero to have a 3.5" or bigger screens, but I guess Huawei had to come to the rescue.
  2. why are these phones so beautiful and yet lacking in ram?? why????
  3. this is a nice looking phone and the internal memory is not really an issue for me...just hope its not a "low end" phone

exactly. screw ram, I wanna know the speed of the processor.. this is the phone I was holdin off on hero for; but if the specs aren't all that great, then the hero will need to come and rescue me.

I have my fingers crossed for a tegra/snapdragon based Android phone to be released by the end of the year. Damn, now THAT would make Android complete .
  7. Am I missing something? Where does it mention RAM, have the specs been published elsewhere?

And if it is low on RAM/ROM, how will it receive the future updates?? Wont it suffer the same problems as the G1 because of limited space?
  9. Does this one have a physical keyboard?

no, phones have seperate memories. a hidden memory for updates and the regular internal memory
  11. Guess AC is trapped in bizzaro world where storage is constantly confused with RAM
