T-Mobile is the official wireless sponsor of Major League Baseball and it looks like that could mean at least one perk for the customers. It seems they will be able to grab the MLB At Bat 14 season for free. But while there are some successful reports coming from users, we have yet to see anything official from T-Mobile.

An earlier posting in the T-Mobile support pages mentioned how customers will be able to claim the free season of MLB At Bat 14 beginning on May 1st. Obviously, we are past the May 1st availability option. The posting in the forums, from a T-Force Specialist, read as follows;

“UPDATE: As the official sponsor of Major League Baseball, we will be offering MLB At Bat 14 to our customers for free starting May 1 through the entire regular season.”

Beyond that T-Mobile is still suggesting users keep an eye out for more of an official announcement. In fact, the MLB page on the T-Mobile website still suggests users “check back often for events and special offers.” Having said that, it looks like claiming the offer is as simple as launching the app. Several users mentioned they were presented with the offer after installing and launching the app on their device.

Bottom line here, if you are a T-Mobile user and a baseball fan it looks like you are now able to stream the Game of the Day using your mobile device. Otherwise, some of the other feature highlights include expanded instant replays, the ability to listen to home and away radio broadcasts, breaking news, statistics and more.

For reference, the At Bat 14 Premium subscription regularly sells for $19.99 (per season). You can grab the MLB.com At Bat app from the Google Play Store.
