Despite the fact we already knew that every single one of these devices was on the way to T-Mobile soon, the Magenta carrier decided to go ahead and officially announce the devices the old-fashioned way: with a press release. There aren't any surprises in store, especially when it comes to the specifications of the devices, but at least we now know the devices are heading to the network beginning November 3rd.

The press release outlines all four new devices, showcasing what makes them stand out against the competition. First up, considering it's already available now, is the Motorola CHARM. It features a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, and a full QWERTY physical keyboard beneath that. You'll find a 600MHz processor under the hood, and a 3MP camera on the back. There's also the BACKTRACK trackpad on the back of the device, providing users with "simple navigation." The CHARM comes in a golden bronze color, or a cabernet finish.

The Motorola DEFY is scratch- and dust-proof, and is equipped with an 800MHz processor. There's a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, and you'll find the new, advanced version of MOTOBLUR on the handset as well. It will be available in a black and "linen finish." The LG Optimus T features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, as well as Voice Actions, which lets customers use voice controls for the majority of features. It will launch in a burgundy and titanium color scheme.

And finally, the T-Mobile Comet features a 3.2MP camera on the back of the device, a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and it's running Android 2.2 under the hood. There's a 528MHz processor under the hood. It will sell for less than $200 when it goes on sale for pre-paid customers, which makes it the lowest-priced Android-powered device with 3G capability in the T-Mobile portfolio.

The T-Mobile Comet will retail for $9.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. You'll be able to pick it up from retailers like Radio Shack and Walmart as a pre-paid device as well, for the less than $200 price tag. The LG Optimus T will launch for $29.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate. The Motorola DEFY will cost you $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, while the Motorola CHARM runs $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Funny as I look at my bill they are charging me $30 for the web on this phone. One the phone with cutomer service who is trying to convience my that is what I agreed to. I purchased two phones the same day, one with a web upgrade and the other was the affordable $10 web. They must train their customer service reps only to place notes in the account for their favor.
