T-Mobile is at it again with another huge sale before the crazy after holiday sales start. They’ll be offering every T-Mobile 4G enabled device basically for free with a new 2-year contract and unlimited data plan — although there is a small catch. This “4G Super Sale” will be all day Saturday and Sunday while supplies last so you’ll want to hurry if you are looking for a new smartphone this holiday season.

So what is the small catch you ask? Customers will be required to pay the initial down payment for the device all the way up to $299 out of pocket, but will receive a mail in rebate for the full price. Making every T-Mobile 4G device be free this weekend, only you’ll have to wait for the rebate to get the funds back. Here is the official wording from T-Mobile:

all phones and select Mobile Broadband Devices, including the LG G-Slate, are available for a net down payment of $0.00 (after a mail-in rebate) when purchased with a qualified Unlimited Value Plan on a two-year contract.”

It looks as if T-Mobile is aiming to beat the holiday sales from others by offering all 4G devices for free just a week before Christmas. Pretty good plan if you ask me. Being able to get the awesome Galaxy S II for free sure beats what others are asking lately. T-Mobile should be announcing more details any day now but all the information above and at the source details it plenty clear. If you’re ok with paying up front and waiting for a rebate you can get an awesome T-Mobile 4G device for free this weekend. Will you be buying?

  1. Maybe!  I’d be switching from Verizon to do it though, and not sure I can live with the dead areas when out on my Quad or 4x4ing in the AZ desert!

  4. They are also jacking the prices of the phones up so the deal isn’t as good but its still not bad.  Pre sale price on the galaxy 2 s is 529.  The price during the sale its $599.

  5. This is so wrong! The phones aren’t free. T-Mobile is giving a rebate to cover what they call a down payment, which you have to pay up front and then wait for the rebate. Then you pay per month to buy the rest of the cost of the phone. Hundreds of dollars possibly. I’d like to hear which staffer of the forum here was paid by T Mobile to pass around false information that free 4G phones were on offer. Not true.
