SwiftKey X app is free on Amazon Appstore for Android today

A week ago, today we tossed up our hands-on impression of the SwiftKey X app that aims to make your on screen typing easier. Cory liked the app a lot and went so far as to say it was the best typing experience he has had on a tablet. If you liked the idea of the app and thought it would be cool to try, but you are the sort that doesn’t like paying for apps here is your chance to get SwiftKey X for free.

The app is on the Amazon Appstore for Android at no cost right now. This is the full app, not a cut down free or trial version. The app has a bunch of features that make it very functional. The app uses a split key arrangement locating the keys closer to your thumbs. The number pad is in the middle of the letter keys.

It features auto correction and supports nine different languages along with multi-touch and voice-to-text dictation. The app also has a strong fluency prediction engine and the user can personalize the typing with cloud-based personalization. This app is normally $3.99 and will only be free today so grab it while you can.

This is the phone version, not the tablet version. Tablet version is still $5 on Amazon Appstore today.
