It looks like a few additional details have recently leaked for an upcoming Xperia device. Sony has yet to offer an official announcement, however it looks like the Xperia L will be bringing a 4.3-inch FWVGA display at 854 x 480. Similar to the lower resolution of the display, the remaining features of the Xperia L look to be mid-range at best.

Based on what we have been seeing, the Xperia L has been known as the TaoShan and is carrying a model number of C210x. Aside from the 4.3-inch display, some of the other (still rumored) specs include a dual-core 1GHz processor, Adreno 305 graphics, 8GB of internal storage and a 1700 mAh battery.

It looks like the Xperia L will also have a microSD card slot and an 8 megapixel Exmor RS camera sensor. The handset is said to measure in at 128.7 x 65 x 9.7mm and is expected to be running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean at launch. Speaking of the launch, no word from Sony as to when that may be coming, however the Xperia L is tipped to arrive at the same time as the Xperia SP.

The Xperia SP is a device that we have mentioned before and looks to be a small step above the Xperia L. The SP has been rumored to feature a 4.6-inch 720p display along with a 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and the same 8 megapixel Exmor RS camera sensor. One potential perk of the Xperia SP looks to be in the construction as it is expected to have an aluminum frame (along with a plastic backing).
