Sony Honami surfaces in a series of hands-on images

Given the frequency of Honami related leaks there is probably little surprise in that another has surfaced. This latest is a handful of live-images showing the handset in white. They are offering a clear look at the front and back of the handset as well as the top and bottom. In fact, there appears to be just one angle missing in this latest leak -- an shot of the right side.

Needless to say, these images all seem to match up with the previous leaks. But again, given the frequency of leaks that is not all that surprising. Interestingly enough, the shot of the back shows the handset with the 1/2.3 and 20.7MP references sitting under the "G" and to the side of the lens. These were notably missing from the teaser image shared by Sony earlier today.

Otherwise, as you can see from the gallery sitting below, the top of the handset has the headphone jack and the bottom has what appears to be a decent sized speaker. The side shot is offering a look at the magnetic pins that will presumably be used for a charging dock. As for not seeing the right side in this latest image leak, Sony did give us a look at that in an earlier teaser.

The right side of the handset has the power button as well as the volume rocker and camera button. All three of the recent (Sony shared) teaser images of the Honami can be seen in the gallery sitting below. That being said, while it seems like the Honami leaks have reached a tipping point, we suspect they will continue right up through the time of the announcement. Sony has an event scheduled for September 4th and that is when this should all be made official.

We are expecting to see a handset with a 5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 3000 mAh battery. And as we saw in this latest image leak -- a 20.7 megapixel rear-facing camera. Finally, as a reminder, we will be live on-site in Berlin as the handset is announced.
