Skyfire for Android Updated

The popular Skyfire browser for Android has just been updated to 3.0.1, bringing along with it some new features. It’s a relatively minor but brings some stability fixes and a few much needed improvements.

One of the changes in this update is the ability to move the application to your SD card to save phone memory. With this version of Skyfire you can also upload files directly from your browser, however, these two features are only available if you’re running Android 2.2 or 2.3.

Downloads will now happen in the background and, when finished, a notification will pop up in the system tray similar to how Market downloads are downloaded.

The update is available now in the Android Market.
