The T-Mobile G1 has been around long enough for users and fans of the Android OS to get used to the default layout of Android for smartphones. The G1 uses a straight Android layout as Google wanted it, but newer devices will sport a custom interface for the OS.

We talked before about the Sony Ericsson mobile phone that had leaked and would run Android. A new video has turned up on YouTube that reportedly shows the custom interface the phone will use.

I have to say that the interface looks very slick. I particularly like the how the contacts are displayed as cards and things look well finished and fluid. The video also shows how the custom interface handles Twitter and Facebook integration, which looks very slick as well.

  1. Absolutely stunning - hope it's not just a mock up, as it just jumped the Samsung Galaxy as my 'phone to wait for'...
  2. That is quite lovely but your link doesn't work.
  3. I don't like it. I think the sense UI makes alot more..."sense".
