You would think that an app that lets you sign in to use it would be able to sync the information across all the devices where you use the app right? But apparently not all of them do that and Shazam is one of those apps. The music discovery service however is finally wising up to this important feature for multi-platform users. The latest update to the app now brings the ability to sync, as well as multiple selection when deleting files.

The reality in our current digital setting is that we use more than one device to access our apps. Shazam is available for smartphone, tablet, and smartwatch as well, so it should follow that you could see all the songs that you’ve “shazamed” on all those platforms. And so yes, finally, the app can now sync across all the devices as long as you log in with the same account (who needs more than one account anyway?). You’ll see all your past Shazams even if you have a new phone or device.

Another new feature in this update is the ability to select multiple songs in your My Shazam tab. Just tap and hold one song to enter the edit mode and then select multiple ones to delete them all at the same time. So if you don’t want people to know that the songs you’ve been Shazaming are mostly One Direction and Justin Bieber songs, then you can get rid of the evidence.

You can update your Shazam now to enjoy these new features. Or if you don’t have it yet, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store.
