AT&T Impulse 4G by Huawei Review [Video]

AT&T Impulse 4G by Huawei Review [Video]
When it comes to AT&T, it's difficult not to get lost in the fold, the massive amount of devices this carrier carries, especially when it comes to Android. What Huawei has done here is to not concern themselves with being the biggest, the best, the thinnest, or the lightest, instead coming forth with one of the most plain and easily pocketable devices I've ever seen carry Android. If there was a phone that I'd peg for most likely to be recognized for it's designers, this certainly would win the award for being the opposite of that. Is this Huawei the key to commonality here in the States?

Pantech Breakout Review [Video]
Welcome to the most affordably priced 4G LTE device to be released on Verizon yet, a device made by Pantech to not only give customers a choice of a cheaply priced bit of access to the highest speed network in the USA, but a reinforcement of their still tiny Android-based representation here in the United States. We've got a review of the Pantech Crossover, the first time we got hold of a Pantech Android smartphone. It's here though that we see a real fighting representation of the Pantech brand, complete with 4G LTE to download all your favorite apps and browse the web at the fastest speeds around. Then there's the brand new Pantech interface, completely unique in the Android world.

Motorola ELECTRIFY Review [Video]
Let's go ahead and get hands-on with this above-average super powerful dual-core Android handset that'll make your robots explode with pleasure. This is the Motorola ELECTRIFY and it's being carried here in the USA by none other than U.S. Cellular. This is the first time we've gotten to see such an amazingly powerful device on this carrier, the ELECTRIFY running with the big dogs here with a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor as well as what Motorola calls Webtop functionality for a fully immersive multi-purpose Android experience, complete with Motorola's newest user interface to guide you.

AT&T ACER Iconia Tab A501 4G Review [Video]
If it was good the first time, it's certainly good the second time, thus says Acer with their Iconia Tab A501, a device which is, in almost every way imaginable, exactly the same as the original Iconia Tab A500 we reviewed back on April 20, 2011. Therefor what we've got here is a bit of an upgrade to the original review, a bit of re-upping the details, and a few benchmarks to keep your mouth wetted for the big dinner.

Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch Review

Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch Review
Welcome to the United States, Galaxy S II, I see you've got the longest name in the history of smartphones here in your initial iteration! Don't worry, though, it's nothing to be afraid of - you're still the thinnest 4G device on any and every carrier you'll be on here in the states, and with this first launch on the WiMAX carrying carrier, you're round and lovely as well. The Epic 4G Touch has what many might call the most unique look to it of all the Galaxy S II devices out thus far, having a 4.5-inch display, the roundest edges in a Galaxy S II thus far, and almost spherical back corners with a textured battery cover. Four buttons at the bottom and it's lost its international single-center-button charm, will it add up to the legends we've heard of this device as it's been out for the past few months in Europe in Asia?

Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 Review with Riptide GP on Toshiba THRIVE [Video]
If there's one thing that's advancing at radically enticing speed in the Android world, it's gaming. Think about the games you were playing on Android a year ago, then watch this video. You'll find that not only is the game Riptide GP, a game we've looked at several times before still an awesome game, we've got it updated to the newest version available and, what do you know, it's got the ability to work with 3rd party controllers. We got a nice package from NVIDIA containing the Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 for some USB-connected action and we were on our way! Not before getting those controls calibrated to our precise wave-riding calibrations right first though, you know we love our calibrations.

Samsung Pure Breeze Android Launcher app Review [Video]
If there's one thing that device manufacturers across the board are NOT known for, it's optional user interfaces. Instead it's nearly always a face over the top of Android that, if you're not too keen on hacking your device, you're sort of stuck with. Of course manufacturers don't want you to see it that way, promoting their devices alongside their user interfaces as added value - take TouchWiz for example on Samsung devices (video included below aside Pure Breeze video). TouchWiz is what Samsung places on the vast majority of their Android devices, namely their Galaxy S II line coming to the USA this month and the Infuse 4G which we're using for this hands-on look at what Samsung has silently released as a brand new Launcher - Pure Breeze!

Motorola DROID Bionic Review
Motorola has finally released the much anticipated Droid Bionic. Now that it's finally here we aim to take a deeper look into the hardware, software, and all the accessories to see if this 4G powered superphone can really "rule all machines" as Verizon has been claiming. The commercial is clever and neat but it's all about the phone when it comes down to it. Read on below for plenty of details during our review, as well as tons of photos and some in-depth video hands-on.

Palringo Group Messaging and Chat App Discovery Update Review [Video]
There is an app out there in the world that takes group messaging to another level, one where you can not only communicate with the people you know and love on a whole slew of 3rd party networks, but through geotagging allows you to get a handle on those around you who are about to become your brand new associates. Starting today, key features have been added to the already cross-platform ultra popular platform (10 billion messages a month and 300,000 groups for 11 million users) to a newly minted discovery-heavy person finder as well. What we've got for you below is a look at this app as it was, as it is, and as it will be from this point on.

Sleek Audio CT7 Custom IEM Review
Hey folks, today I have a special treat for you all to check out and that is some Sleek Audio custom in ear monitor (IEM) headphones. Now this doesn't have much to do with Android per se, but I have been using them daily with my Android phone and occasionally with my tablet and it works wonderfully. These being my first fully 100% custom in ear monitors I was excited to give them a try. These are specially tuned to my ear, and my musical taste all thanks to Sleek Audio.
