Gmail update adds vacation responders, print support and more

The latest Gmail app update has arrived in the Play Store this afternoon. This update brings the Gmail app to version 4.7, but perhaps more important is the bit about the update adding a few new features. The Gmail app gains support for vacation responders, printing and also saw some additional support in terms of attachments.

Android Device Manager app arrives in the Play Store

Google announced the Android Device Manager several months back. Essentially, this is a security feature that will allow you to remotely locate your device on a map or by having it ring. This setup also allows users to remotely lock and also erase the device. Anyway, Google began rolling this out to devices shortly after the original announcement, and while a mobile app was promised, there wasn't much said in terms of when that would be arriving.

White Nexus 7 arrives with WiFi and 32GB internal storage

Google quietly added a new addition to the Nexus 7 tablet lineup today. The new arrival is a new color -- white. While the specs and pricing remain the same as before, the white model Nexus 7 does have a few tidbits worth mentioning. To begin with, this model is only available with 32GB of storage space.

OPPO N1 arrives for those in Europe and the US

As we had been expecting, OPPO has released the N1 smartphone for those in the US and Europe. The handset is available in white and there is an option for either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space. The OPPO N1 is priced at $599 (16GB) or $649 (32GB) and sporting the key features touted by OPPO including the rotating 13 megapixel camera, O-Touch Panel and O-Click Control fob.

AT&T announces LTE roaming deal with Rogers in Canada

AT&T has announced a new roaming partnership that should be of benefit for those visiting Canada. The agreement means AT&T users will have access to LTE by way of the Rogers network. But before anyone crosses the boarder looking for LTE coverage, you will need to have the Data Global Add-On package for your account.

Moto X Cyber Monday inventory depleted in under 10 minutes

We suspect some will be less forgiving in terms of the issues that Motorola had on Cyber Monday, but judging from how quickly the Moto X coupon codes went last week and today -- it seems there was plenty of demand for a $349 Moto X.
