Samsung Galaxy S5 has three new ways to extend battery life

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is chock full of features, and limted on battery. A 2800 mAh battery is likely inadequate for heavy users, and plugging in can be a pain. Swapping batteries is always an option, but then you have to carry round extra kit. The company may have found a happy medium, though, offering three new features to help with battery life in their device.

HTC may have had the Desire 816 off limits for touching following the initial announcement event, but we still managed to get to spend a bit more quality time with the handset once the show floor opened. We still weren't able to power it on, which meant we were not able to see how nice the display looks. But again, for reference, the Desire 816 display is 5.5-inches and 720p.
