This past week was a pretty good one if you're a Nexus S owner, but not so good if you've been trying to get your hands on the Google Nexus 7. Google began sending out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates to Nexus S phones on select carriers Friday night, but unfortunately earlier in the week the company announced that it was having some trouble keeping 16GB Nexus 7 tablets in stock. As a result, the 16GB Nexus 7s now have an estimated delivery time of 3-4 weeks when shipping from the Google Play Store, so unless you're okay with picking up an 8GB model instead, you might be left waiting for a Nexus 7.

We've had some wild adventures with the bigger brother of this Android 7" tablet, that slightly huger Android device by the name of Acer Iconia Tab A500, a 10" Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet. But what about this little monster? What about the littler of the two Androids in arms? Will it never be released due to what Acer says is incompatibility with Honeycomb? The HTC Knight - aka the HTC EVO Shift 4G or the HTC Speedy - has shown up online, courtesy of a batch of accessories for the smartphone. HTCPedia got a bountiful crop of shots in, showing the 3.7-inch WiMAX smartphone complete with HTC Sense. On the back there's a camera of unknown resolution, paired with a single LED flash. The handset is tipped to arrive on January 6 2011.

A very mysterious phone indeed! A source reported to be on the inside has revealed an upcoming phone to be released by Sprint: the HTC Knight. It has a sliding screen, will be running some version of another of Android, and has a 3.7 inch screen, which just happens to be the same size as the Nexus One. The source also reported that the phone may be released in under two weeks from today.
