SanDisk has unveiled a pair of Connect branded devices that could help to free up some space on your smartphone or tablet. The devices are the Connect Wireless Flash Drive and the Connect Wireless Media Drive. These are both expected to arrive next month and they will both allow you to wireless stream and also transfer files to and from.

The first of these two is the flash drive. This one offers 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space. This flash drive also has a microSD card slot for added storage and WiFi connectivity. Of course, as one would expect with a flash drive — there is also the regular USB connectivity for use with a computer.

The Connect Wireless Flash Drive will allow users to stream a wide variety of files to include music and movies as well as images and documents. This drive will allow for up to four hours of continuous streaming from a single charge. As for price, those looking to make a purchase can expect to pay $49 or $59 for the 16GB or 32GB model respectively.

The next item, the Connect Wireless Media Drive has a squared Roku-like appearance. This one offers 32GB or 64GB of internal storage along with a full-sized SD memory card slot. The price of the media drive is $79 or $99 respectively, but given the price, those considering the 32GB model may be better served by the lower priced flash drive. Otherwise, 64GB with the additional storage coming from the memory card slot means a decent amount of available storage.

That amount of storage may come in handy given this drive allows up to eight mobile device connections at a time. Otherwise, both the flash drive and media drive will require the user(s) to have the SanDisk app installed on their device. The app will be available by way of the Play Store once the drives are available. Neither of these drives are shipping just yet, but both are available for pre-order with several retailers including Amazon and Newegg.
