A lot of people may be looking forward to buying (or have already bought) the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge because of its well-hyped new features, but some may not be too crazy about the standard colors available, like the White Pearl, the Black Sapphire, and the Gold Platinum. While you can of course get more colorful casings and stuff, nothing beats the default color. Now the Korean OEM has come up with a little bit more choices for those who are looking for a bit of color. Consumers looking for their new smartphones now have choice to get the Galaxy S6 in Blue Topaz, or the Galaxy S6 edge in Emerald Green.

According to the color trend and forecasting institute, Pantone, this Spring 2015 palette features four shades of blue in their top 10 tones, and that includes Aquamarine, Suba Blue, Classic Blue, and Dusk Blue. So this means, the Galaxy S6’s Blue Topaz is definitely on the “in” when it comes to style and fashion. It is for the “style-conscious consumers looking for a vibrant, expressive and distinctive color,” says Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics. A world-renowkned British psychologist also says that because this color is bright and vivacious, it will attract those people who know what they want and are more self-assured than most.

For those who are “balanced, loyal, hard-working, honest, benevolent and concerned for others,” the Galaxy S6 edge and its Emerald Green option will be the more likely choice. It is more sophisticated and is closely linked with the themes of nature and new beginnings. The color green also represents a lot of other things, including hope, energy, simplicity, friendliness, and connection, which are all good things to have right?

Now while those colors are indeed a good option to have, it probably won’t be the sole reason why someone would buy either phones, let alone buy the particular brand. The quality and features would play a more important role in your choice of a new smartphone. Nevertheless, at least these two options are available for you and if you want more information, go to samsungmobilepress.com.
