It seems Samsung is going to be a huge player in Mobile World Congress this year in Barcelona. Even with their tarnished reputation, we can all agree that they make some very solid devices, one of which is the newly leaked Samsung Ace which has just been spotted in the wild.

The device seems to be a lower-end Galaxy S device for users who are looking for an entry-level phone and should be made available early this year. Featuring a 5MP camera, 3.5-inch “LCD” (Note: not AMOLED or Super AMOLED), and a 800MHz processor, it’s definitely not a powerhouse, but it could be the perfect fit for many.

What do you think of the Ace? Too little, too late? Not the phone you’d buy, or are its specs a perfect fit?

  1. Please boycott all Samsung devices up and until they update their Samsung Galaxy S devices in the US to Android 2.2. The more press you give their new devices, the less pressure they feel to upgrade or treat their customers better.
