Even if there had been some obvious kind of way of knowing that the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment on the Sprint Network wouldn’t be getting Android 2.2, we can finally say that it’s been confirmed. By Sprint, thanks to Twitter.

Yes, the HTC EVO 4G is getting Android 2.2, and Sprint is intending to get it out of the way some time in the future. Actually, “in the near future.” But, we know that could mean anything from tomorrow until, well, some time in the future. But, the Samsung Moment and HTC Hero have been left in the wake of Android 2.1. So, if you haven’t upgraded, are you ready to upgrade now?
