Cricket Wireless just got what we would call a nice mid-range Android phone named the Samsung Indulge. It looks like a mini Samsung Epic in a way and features some similar hardware inside making it a great phone for those on Cricket. It comes with Android 2.2 on board with a 1 Ghz processor, 3.5″ display, Touch Wiz 3.0 and the weakest link would be the 3 MP camera on the rear but that is plenty for those Facebook photos right? All this for the low price of $329. Not bad when you don’t have to sign a contract of any sort.

The Samsung Indulge is already out in the wild running with Metro PCS so the hardware isn’t extremely new to us, but this refreshing improvement to Cricket’s lineup is a welcomed one for those that are using something like the Huawei Ascend or even the Kyocera Zio as the build quality and Android 2.2 of the Indulge is a step up that is for sure.

For more information and pictures feel free to head over to the Cricket Samsung Indulge page and possibly even order yourself one. Get the freedom of no contract and a great phone with Cricket. Full press release below:
