Finally and officially, the Samsung Gear S2 Classic New Edition is ready for global release. It’s not just for China or South Korea but this Tizen-powered smartwatch will soon be popular all over the world. A few weeks ago at the CES in Las Vegas, the Platinum and 18K Rose Gold versions were announced by Samsung, ready to make waves wherever they will land.

The Gear S2 Classic is simply an updated edition of the Gear S2. The new finishes, Platinum and 18K Rose Gold, give that classic and timeless look that could last forever. However, since it’s a smartwatch, we’re sure that the digital part will be outdated only after a few years or so—just like any other gadget.

The Samsung Gear S2 Classic 18K Rose Gold edition comes with an Ivory Genuine Leather while the Platinum version boasts of a Black Leather strap. To make the wearable device more interesting than ever, Samsung added new watch faces featuring the Peanuts gang. More artwork and specials by artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring are also available as watch faces.

Staring at your watch face may be boring but don’t worry as there are plenty of new useful apps like Bloomberg, CNN, Voxer, Uber, ESPN, and eBay. No information yet on exact pricing and availability in different countries but we’ll let you know soon.
