What you’re seeing below is a couple of shots of presentation panels that very obviously shouldn’t have been photographed yet. This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, a device that appears very much to be running Honeycomb with Samsung’s own UX on top, a “personalized homescreen”, stocked full of stuff you’ll more than likely want to turn off: buddies now, agenda, email, weather, news, stock, gallery, date, and bookmark. Maybe emails you’ll keep. Either way, the device, the device! Look at this sassy mother.

This device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will almost certainly be revealed in full at tomorrow’s Samsung event which we’ll definitely be at front and center. This is a tablet that’ll join the ranks of a very iPad and XOOM market, depending on how you see it, and will more than likely make the original Samsung Galaxy Tab look like a dinosaur fossil of a lunchtray.

This device will be utilizing, obviously, an 8.9inch screen, a 470g weight body, 1280 x 800 WXGA touchscreen, and they’re saying it’ll be speedy! Perhaps the 1GHz dual core processor. They’re saying, and its written, that this tablet will have PC-like performance. What does that mean? We’ll see tomorrow.
