Late last month a listing on the Samsung Developer Center landed and we thought that the listing might be for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet. We aren’t sure still if the listing was indeed the tablet we suspect. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has now landed for pre-order on Amazon in the UK. The listing shows that the tablet packs a 3G modem inside and doesn’t offer the screen resolution so we can compare it to the specs for the device in the dev center listing.

The tablet is listed at a price of £605.34 with the 3G modem. The in stock date is claimed to be August 12. The tablet is being sold by ATELCO Computer AG and the listing is very light on specs. What we know is the screen is 8.9-inches obviously. It will be offered in pure white color.

The weight of the tablet is 465g and the width is 23.1cm with a depth of 0.9cm. I wish there were more hard specifications to check out. Whether or not the August 12 date is firm is unknown, there have been other dates rumored for the shipments to start. If you don’t want to wait and like a larger 10.1-inch screen, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is now available in the UK.

  1. I just paid $ 23.86 for an iPhone and my girlfriend loves her Dell laptop that we got for $ 38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 42 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 665 which only cost me $ 62,81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, GrabPenny.com
