The Galaxy S7 Active phone case surfaced the other day and we thought that it would be another kick-ass mobile device. It’s not just the camouflage design but also the rubber bumber, polycarbonate case, and its water-resistant quality. Most of the specs and features are similar to the standard Galaxy S7 but the materials and design are a bit different. We’ve seen the images and now we have more information about the upcoming phone, thanks to a GFXBench listing.

The GFXBench database now shows the specs of the S7 Active. The Samsunng SM-G891A will have a 5.5-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, at least 5-finger gesture support, 2.1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad core CPU, Qualcomm Adreno 530, 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, 12MP rear camera, 5MP selfie cam, and other standard features like Bluetooth, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, GPS, and NFC.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active

The information seems legit because most GFXBench sightings turn about to be real but we can’t be sure yet if the SM-G891A is indeed the S7 Active variant. Samsung can always surprise us with the details and there’s a chance that they are for another Samsung phone. We can also expect this Galaxy S7 Active to be offered by AT&T but of course again, take everything with a grain of salt.
