Samsung Galaxy S6 Fire Test

Drop test. Front, back, and side drop tests. Speed test? Too easy. A water test? Phone can survive that one. How about an extreme bend test? Nerve-wracking. Curious geeks will never be done trying out their phones to know if the likes of Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge. YouTube will be filled with people who are bored who would like to do several and extreme durability tests. The latest of which is this stress test that includes a FIRE TEST.

YouTuber JerryRigEverything just published another stressful stress test that proves the new Galaxy S6 can withstand harsh conditions. He said that this is a special sacrifice for science–his phone being abused. At first, he tried rubbing keys, a phillips head screwdriver, and a razor blade onto the screen but there was no damage at all. These tests are easy but they are most likely to happen to smartphones that are usually placed inside the pocket or bag.

A bend test was also done but no equipment was used, just the hands of the tester, trying to bend the phone to the best of his capabilities. The phone bent a bit but the screen was perfectly working. Again, no extreme damage.

This may not often happen in a real world situation but a Fire Test was administered to the side metal frame, back cover, and the AMOLED screen. The result? Just some slight discoloration and smoke marks which will go when wiped off.  But why would anyone lit his phone on fire? JerryRigEverything said ‘just to satisfy curiosity’.
